As usual since the past years, a new appointment with the Embedded world returns to Naples (Italy): the "Microsoft Embedded Conference", which changed name to "Internet of Things Conference".

The free event will be on Saturday, April 18th 2015 in Naples (Italy), organized by DotNetCampania community and Microsoft Italy. It will be about Internet of Things and all related technologies, from micro-devices to the cloud, passing through wearables and other technologies.

In a few days, in Milan (Italy), in Microsoft headquarters, there will be one of the biggest Italian community event, Community Days 2015, organized by Italian communities and user groups focused on Microsoft products and technologies, to offer a 3-days full of news, updates and technical sessions.

The event is almost sold-out and among the numerous sessions (this year 103, divided in 15 tracks on 3 days) and the various world-wide famous speakers (92!), there will be me and Beppe Platania, presenting a theorical overview about Internet of Things (from Embedded to Cloud) and some practical solutions based on Microsoft technologies (and more).

Pluralsight new course about Intelligent Systems

This course is an advanced journey in the developing phases of an Intelligent System, using Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry and Microsoft Azure. After a brief introduction to the Internet of Things concept, we'll see how a real word intelligent system can be built, starting from requirements and specifications, passing through configuration, services, management, cloud backend, and communication strategies, up to the final deploy.

Microsoft Embedded Conference 2014


On February 15th, 2014 in Naples, Italy, there will be the second Microsoft Embedded Conference. The free full-day event is organized by the cultural association DotNetCampania and his community.

This year, the focus will be on the Internet Of Things and M2M Communications, the top trending topics of 2014. We'll see how Microsoft technologies can be used to design and integrate such solutions, called "Intelligent Systems". These are always online and cloud inter-connected systems.

Beppe Platania  and me will participate as speakers and we'll present Sense3an Embedded+cloud solution for Showrooms, events and Entertainment.
